Weapon Effects are able to supply the entire MIL-SIM-FX catalogue to the UK. We do this from our UK distribution and service centre. Since 2004 MIL-SIM-FX have developed an incredible range of modular, scalable and interchangeable Non-Pyrotechnic Weapon Effect Simulators. Weapon Effects have selected some of the most popular effects as outlined below:
- Mounted Training
- Convoy Attack Training
- Counter Terrorism Training
- Situation Management Training
- Urban Terrain Training
- Underwater Explosive Training
- Live Fire Training
Large Roadside IED
MIL-SIM-FX produce effects which can fully engulf any vehicle even main battle tanks in a cloud of non-toxic Cool Smoke. Effects can be drawn together to create a scaled up effect to attack multiple vehicles in a convoy.
Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device VBIED
Easily concealed in the load spaces of vehicles, in the engine bay or under seats or even attached to the underside of vehicles by magnets. MIL-SIM-FX has a range of different effects which can be used as a vehicle borne IED.
Explosive Formed Penetration Charge
A number of MIL-SIM-FX products can be fitted with paintball marking rounds in order to perform damage assessments and give trainees an insight into the damage various styles of IED can cause, giving a heightened sense of situational awareness.
Many of the Weapon Effects can be successfully deployed underwater. All of the air or pneumatic triggered devices will function underwater. Underwater detonation creates a plume of gas under the water and jets at the surface. A high impact low risk effect which dramatically increases realism.
Air Strike Simulation
The scalable properties of the MIL-SIM-FX system allow any size explosion to be created. When combining multiple effects, a selection of different effect options and heads can create an explosion effect with incredible power and depth.
MIL-SIM-FX puts the trainee at the heart of the action with minimal risk to the individual. Non-Pyrotechnic Weapon Effect Simulators allow the simulation of explosions to recreate the stress and heat of battle.
